Actually, chutney not only enhances the taste of food, its combination with every dish is also unique. For example, be it spicy mint chutney or sweet and sour tomato-date chutney. There is magic of different spices in every chutney. Here we are going to tell you about some such chutneys, which are famous in different states of India.

Famous chutneys of different states

Shengdana Chutney of Maharashtra- It has a spicy and crunchy taste and is made from peanuts, red chilli powder, garlic, salt and oil. All these things are roasted and eaten by adding salt to it.

Tomato Chutney of Andhra Pradesh- This spicy and sour chutney is made from tomato, green chilli, garlic, tamarind, mustard, asafoetida and oil. First the tomatoes are roasted and ground with green chillies and garlic and tamarind pulp is added to it and seasoning of mustard seeds and asafoetida is applied.

Garlic Chutney of Rajasthan-Garlic, red chilli powder, cumin, oil and salt are used in this spicy and spicy chutney. First grind garlic and red chili powder and fry it in hot oil, then add cumin and salt and cook well.

Sweet and sour mango chutney of Uttar Pradesh- To make this sweet and sour chutney, first boil the mangoes and add jaggery, roasted cumin and red chilli powder to it. Now cool it and serve.

Bengal’s plastic chutney- Cut raw papaya thinly, boil it and fry it in ghee. Now add lemon, sugar, saffron, cardamom, salt, nigella seeds and the chutney is ready. It looks like plastic.

Iromba Chutney of Manipur- Spicy and smoky in taste, this chutney is made from boiled potatoes, boiled fish (optional), red chilli, garlic and salt. First grind the boiled potatoes and fish, add red chilli and garlic to it and mix it and serve.

Churpi Chutney of Himachal Pradesh- To make this spicy and sour chutney, grind Churpi i.e. dry cheese, green chillies and garlic, add coriander leaves and salt and serve it cold.

Tomato Chutney of Bihar Jharkhand- To make this spicy and sour chutnaki, first grind tomatoes with garlic, ginger and green chillies. Then add mustard oil to it and serve.
